I attended this week’s RAPID 2016 in Orlando, Florida. Renishaw showed its new RenAM 500M machine that produces metal parts. Meanwhile, 3D Systems displayed its new ProX DMP 320 machine for producing metal parts. As always, the conference and exposition were excellent. An estimated 5,190 attended the event, compared to 4,512 last year. Exhibit space increased to 4,153 sq meters (44,700 sq ft), up from 2,903 sq meters (31,250 sq ft) last year.
