MIT engineers use 3D printing to build origami-inspired object gripper

Engineers at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) have used 3D printing to build a robotic device capable of gripping a wide range of objects. The findings of the research were published in a paper titled, A Vacuum-driven Origami “Magic-ball” Soft Gripper.
